The Adventurers

Yoxani Bastidas

I grew up in the country side of northern Mexico where most of my stories take place. I write sweet romance with a Spanish flair. I consider it of great importance for every person, including writers, to explore and discover their personal power in order to break free from the invisible ties that may keep them from achieving their dreams. I’m so happy to share my voyage with you.

Among my favorite things to do are: spending time with my family, dancing in the rain and staring at the stars. I also love rolling enchiladas for dinner, and grilling carne asada and jalapeño peppers on summer days.

Jessica Wakefield

I’m an Aussie who grew up in a small country town. I make my home near the beach these days with my husband, two kids and a spoiled little dog. I am an author in progress writing my first sweet contemporary romance set in a small country town. Since I can’t move back to the country, I write about it instead.

When I’m not writing I can be found baking, reading, or watching Gilmore Girls.

I’m excited about sharing this writing journey with others and hoping to inspire others who’ve dreamed of writing a book themselves. From drafts to editing, contests and more I want to explore my own journey with you all.

Kaki Olsen

Kaki Olsen may have been born in San Antonio, but a Bostonian upbringing means that she treats Red Sox baseball as a second religion. She was educated at Brigham Young University, where she studied English and Spanish.

Her work days are spent at a disability law firm, but she enjoys trying new restaurants, learning a new sonata or training for a race. She is always on the brink of an adventure, whether hiking a medieval pilgrim’s trail in Austria or taking a night tour of Istanbul.

While her non-fiction career has spanned seventeen years, her debut novel, Swan and Shadow, was published by Cedar Fort in 2016. She still makes time for less-formal pursuits by writing scholarly papers on science fiction and fantasy and dabbling in fan fiction.

Her published works can be found on www.kakiolsenbooks.com.
